Bishop Sheen Housing Grant
Bishop Sheen Ecumenical Housing Foundation, Inc. (Sheen Housing) is pleased to inform you that we have been successful in receiving grant funding through NYS Homes and Community Renewal. We want to thank you for your support of our application.
Now it's time for us to get to the real work. Below you will find a brief synopsis of the funding that is currently available through the RESTORE, Access to Home and Access to Home for Medicaid. We ask that you refer anyone who might fit the parameters of the programs as listed below. Please make the referral directly to Sheen Housing's Rehabilitation Office at 585-657-4114 (ask for Joe or Sue) or you can email Sheen Housing's Rehabilitation Office.
Tax Credit Program
Owners of historic income-producing real property, owner occupied homes, and barns may qualify for an income tax credit for rehabilitating the property. Find information on the state and federal tax credit programs.
